We highly recommend Mendr! Their communication and availability was amazing throughout. John was our contractor and he was incredible. He did great work and communicated thoroughly every step of the way. The work we had done was at a rental property so we weren't there in person and I trusted John the whole time. He even noticed that the lock box numbers had been moved from the last time he was there and wanted to make sure we knew and check that someone else had been there. That kind of attention to detail was so reassuring. We will defintiely be using Mendr again and will ask for John all future work!

Mendr was easy to book with online, and came out for a quote the next day (even with unplowed roads). Once I agreed to the quote, they were quick to schedule. Jordan worked quickly and neatly, securing my kitchen cabinets that had not been properly installed. He also took the time to answer all of my questions. I would definitely hire them again.

Buyer beware!! Never Mendr- I hired Mendr recently for a bathroom remodel and to say it was a mess is an understatement- it was literally the Reno from hell. The issues I had with mendr were: 1) They hired a subcontracted demo crew that nicked our pipes on day 1 and they never told us they were nicked though they were aware (we have video footage of the team discussing). Our plumber told them later that night they needed to fix them. They closed the pipes under an enclosed floor, which then caused a massive leak. When I told Sean, their project manager, he stated it was the radiator and refused to believe it was from the drain pipes. 2) The job was very unprofessional! The communication was garbage with me never knowing who would be at my house and at what time. They would frequently show up late or a new person would come without me knowing who they were! I was told someone was the head of my project team who was only present on days 1 and 2. I asked for someone to work on a Saturday and was told they would come, and wasn't communicated that they weren't coming because of weather (I don't mind safety concerns but you can send a quick text!). On top of that, we would communicate things with one team member and it was never communicated to the other team members and I had multiple people working on my project.Whatever work was done looked like an ametuer completed it and the flooring was very unstable! 3) The team did not place tarps until we asked them to and they placed their work supplies in a tub we were keeping resulting in dust, scratches and debris 4) The subcontracted demo team hit a knob and tube wire. We had asked for an electrician to come and check for safety reasons- the electrician that they subcontracted had a conversation with Marcus outside our front door saying how the team should have just spliced the wire and hid it under the flooring (Which Marcus acknowledged they would have done had we not asked for further assistance from an electrician) This is a HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!!!! 5) The project manager, Sean, cut into our stack pipe to vent an exhaust fan regardless of us telling him not to! The owner, Kyle, accepted little to no responsibility and tried blaming most of our issues on the subcontracted company that we were not even told about. He also kept asking who commented on the quality of work, and refused to admit it was poor quality regardless of multiple other professionals stating so. I missed multiple days of work keeping an eye on his workers because any time I told them to do something, they would do it differently than I wanted it done. The company as a whole is neglectful and unprofessional and it should be illegal to leave someone's house in the shape mine was in- you should be ashamed of the quality, and trying to hide it the way you did! We had to go through liability insurance to fix this mess and had to hire someone else to finish the work (Re-start the work really, because nothing was done properly). After a month and a half I finally have my bathroom done. * It is important to note how even in the response provided by Mendr below no accountability was shown for the quality of THIS project and it was brought back to the positive comments of others. I do not understand what claims can be denied as there is photo and video of ALL of our damage, and multiple witnesses. I'm skeptical of all of the good reviews after this experience and also being blocked on Facebook so I can not post my feedback there (see below image). Understand these were not just LITTLE mistakes- it was a COMPLETE lack of professionalism. Yes, your subcontractors made mistakes, they owned them- your employees did not and continue to not take accountability. I bring up the mistakes YOUR TEAM made, you will not learn from them if you try to pawn it off on the subcontractors. I signed a contract with your company only, and the work your company did and subcontracted is YOUR responsibility to supervise and make it your standards. Please accept responsibility for your own work when it's bad quality as well!
