I was a new customer to Jim‘s Auto Repair, I had been referred by another mechanic in the Roxborough area who is unable to fix the problem in my Subaru. I was very impressed with the professionalism, diagnosis and resolve incorrect the issue. The service was prompt and very accommodating. I certainly recommend Jim’s and will be back.

I went to Jim's auto service for a full synthetic oil change As well as inspection on Friday 13th. I always expect the Inspection up charges either Brakes, Belts,tires,exhaust or wipers. It was the $50 wipers today that were less then a year old. Out the door just under $250 for an oil change and inspection. You make your own determination on that. However I had one of those magnetic suction phone holders in the quarter window. I took my phone off it before I walked inside the shop. I got my car back and a short drive home I didn't drive my car till Monday. Monday thats when I noticed it was missing. I called spoke with Mike he said he would check with the person who serviced my car. I get a call back its in your center console, ok. I check its not there so, I call back, mike again the person said its in the car"silence". I didn't call and acuse anyone say it was taken but the lack of care or concern of a missing item from a customer's car is crazy that you yourself said was moved. I ordered another one. It's not that big of a deal. However, it was mine and I paid for it And now I don't have it. There was no effort i've made to make the customer who felt like they were wronged over their $20+ phone holder that mike him self said was moved. Theres was no reason was taken out of his car or moved from the quarter window it wasn't in the way of anything. To lose a customer over something so small. A customer whonis look for a place for service since my warranty is up and everything will be out of pocket now.

I've been using Jim's Auto Service for 15 years. They handle every repair, large and small, with skill, knowledge, and fairness. I trust them completely to give me an honest assessment, excellent repairs, and flexibility. I am on the road all the time, and I can always call or stop in if something comes up that concerns me, even just to put air in my tires. Vince, the manager, and Mike, the new service advisor, are beyond helpful, and I receive personalized communication about my car in a timely and friendly manner and can book appointments online. The mechanics, especially Anthony and Marco, have handled a lot of difficult diagnoses and repairs skillfully. And I can't say enough about Jim and the way in which he conducts his business. Jim's Auto Service is a staple in our community, and my husband and I highly recommend them.
