Visited around 10am on 1/28/2026, a few days after the snowstorm. There were no other customers in the store at the time — no line, no rush. When I asked for help locating an item, the cashier responded dismissively and did not look up from her phone. At checkout, she expressed irritation that I took a few extra seconds to present the barcode, despite the store being empty. The interaction felt unnecessarily curt and unprofessional. When we first moved to the neighborhood three years ago, the store was helpful and welcoming. Since then, I’ve overheard staff speaking negatively about customers and have repeatedly encountered rudeness at the front counter. Prices have continued to rise while inventory remains limited. Supporting local businesses matters, but customer service is part of the value. At this point, the overall experience does not justify the cost or convenience.
